Tuesday was a stellar day - foggy, rainy and +8 and then high winds set in and we had a flash freeze...
Wednesday dawned bright and beautiful; why it was downright balmy (somewhere) - a high of -10, but no snow! So no rink-shoveling for me. Yay! I'm liking the flash freeze...
Not bad; about -10 on Thursday; couldn't really complain about that and then the snow started. Out-of-towners got to leave work early (that would be me!) so, picked the kids up at school and slowly made it along the slippery roads - only got stuck once, had to back up for traction and continued on our way again...
Winter. Right. I'd almost forgotten. Forecast for Monday? +9 and rain.

Oh, isn't snow beautiful? I forgot what it looks like. Mostly rain over here this winter. I'm just a tiny bit jealous of that nice blanket of snow. The weather is acting weird isn't it? Four seasons in one... season ;-)
It's very weird. Beautiful today, tho'. -2, and sunny. Better enjoy it while we can.
It's a good time to wash my winter coat I guess.
Ya, and break out the umbrella.
