A couple weeks ago, Nolan was at the YMCA celebrating his buddy Josh's birthday. Six candles on the birthday cake, don't you know. As the party neared its end, we gathered Ri and Cameron, told them we were going into town to pick up Nolie and then go out for supper. Once at the Y, Paul stopped at the main doors and Cammy and I went in. Nolan and the friends that still remained were having a grand time chasing each other with balloons. The best part, though, was beating up on Josh's dad with said balloons. Pays to be tall.
We thanked Josh's family for the invitation, wished Josh a very happy birthday and hit the road. Where should we go for supper? Oh. But wait. Paul needed to pick up a "tool" (ahem) from a "coworker" (wink, wink). Our bathroom was largely torn apart, you see. So, we took a quick drive over to the "coworker's" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Luckily, he was home and, well, here's what we came home with...
Alright, alright; I cannot tell a lie. He's not a coworker - we'd just met him a few days earlier when we went to see the pups. And, we didn't go out for dinner. The bathroom bit was real, though. I'm happy to report that it's all back together with - are you ready for this? - a shower that doesn't leak! And new DRY flooring.
* wipes a wee tear from eye *
Ain't he just the cutest darn pup you've ever seen?

Well hello Cooter! And yes he is the cutest puppy. Have to say, though, I think the kids' reactions were even cuter!
I wanna hold him too!!!!! ;-)
That is so cute. Better than any tool. Love your kids' reactions, especially your daughter's. So sweet.
Never mind your kids, let *me* hold him!!!
How cute, and what great parents you are :)
Now I want a puppy...
I had a dog once. That cured me of the cute factor. Dogs are like children; they have to live at someone elses' house!
Sharon - they were pretty cute, weren't they?
Carolina & K - now, now, you two. Calm down. He is pretty cute, isn't he?
IG - oh, come on. How can you say that? He pees all over the floor, wakes us up at 3:30 every morning to go out...what's not to love?
Hahaha! Soooo cute! Great reaction from the kids!
I WANT A PUPPY TOO!
Pretty surprised, eh?!
I didn't know you wanted a Border Collie pup and name him Ace.
Did I mention that to you?
Weird.
One day I am going to get a puppy, who will grow up to be a big puppy, and I shall name him ROY!!!!
I can dream, right?!
Congrats on the new member of the family!!! Love the kids reactions!! Priceless!!!
Dorito - why yes. Yes you did.
Cheryl - Absolutely you can dream. I'm sure your cats would love to share the heat lamp with a pup.
My boss used to have a cat named Spot.
Love that puppy breath!
I think he is indeed the cutest one I ever saw. No doubt about it.
Marian (I think that's you) - yes, indeed. There's nothing like puppy breath.
Mara - he seems to get cuter each day. If that's possible.
Your daughter's reaction had me giggling and in tears, I thought she was going to pass out for a minute. Lucky kids, he's just darling.
