Gold Medal Celebration

What a great game! Lots of screaming and cheering. Lots of tense moments. And all of us with shorter nails by the end of the game. Brother Enos and Ri's friend, Kaitlin, joined us for the day-to-remember. In the end, it was Sid the Kid, on a pass from my man, Iggy, who put the game away in overtime. And a roar went up across the nation. Enos brought over a celebratory bottle of sparkling wine, just in case. Out came Paul's old Petro Canada 1988 Calgary Olympic wine glasses, popped the cork and we celebrated. (Don't worry - the kids had cider.) It was an amazing end to a fabulous Olympics. Woo!
