The Colour of Spring
The greens of the tulips, daylilies and irises emerged from their winter slumber in the last couple of weeks but no colour yet - until now. On the way out to the garage this morning, I noticed some purple hyacinth; that wonderfully scented flower that spells spring. And, judging by the picture, it also spells 'time to weed'.

I love the spring flowers too. Anything coming to life after these long winters is a reason to smile. And I love the wild lupins along the roads in Nova Scotia. Absolutely beautiful.
