Snowmageddon

...that's what Environment Canada was calling the storm, anyway. Buses were canceled so no school for the kids today and I left work just after noon and came home. The drive down the highway was at a crawl, more because of the wind than the snow, but I made it home without a problem. We saw worse storms last winter.

Since we were all home, Nolan and I made Toll House Cookies. This batch was extra chocolatey - every time I looked away, the little fart added another scoop of chips. They're awfully good though. Made a pan of yummy lemon bars too.

As you can see, Nolie tried the first cookie fresh out of the oven.

My Ma. She's got the honey dipped and the baklava. I've been eating a lot of them....usually I don't eat those cookies anymore (kinda boring after 41 years), but I'm a hankering for honey I suppose.
